New Years and All That Jazz

Holy cow. How is it almost 2012? It's like I blinked and this year just disappeared.

It's had it's ups and downs and like most roller-coasters, I occasionally got sick.

Overall, I can' complain though. This tiny blog was started and I barely updated for a while but I think it's starting to come along nicely. It's just my little corner of the web. My sincerest thanks to the new blog friends I've met so far too. You guys are amazing.

I've been thinking a lot about resolutions and whether I should even make them but what the heck? Why not?

This is the part where you roll your eyes and wonder if "working out" will show up here.

The short answer to that is "No." The long answer is not suitable for polite company. Ahem.

Anyway, here's what I want from 2012.

Participate in my first belly dance performance in public

Gain my Cisco Certification for Network Associates

Do one random act of kindness for a perfect stranger at least once a week

Buy my first house

Create my dream craftroom

Learn Spanish

Start my first link party

Do my first giveaway on this blog

And most importantly...

To continue this blog in the way it was begun, as a place where I am true to myself, where pageviews don't matter, joy is shared without reservation, comments are always returned, friendships are started, and fun will always be had.

So what are you planning for 2012?

  1. I read this and felt like jumping up and going 'hip hip hooray'. One always needs lists, challenges,to set oneself goals.
I hope 2012 brings everything you want and more - your bloggy friend Fiona xxx
Happy New Year my friend !

  2. Those are great resolutions! I look forward to your linky party and I hope it is successful and you accomplish all you set out to do! Now if I can find your follow button we will be in business!

Comments are the lifeblood of any blogger and I cherish every one I get. I would love to know what you think about my post as well as a little about you too! Please feel free to share your thoughts with me. Also, I promise word verification is off. ;)
